THE RAPTOR TRUST (THE TRUST) IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 1982 IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. THE RAPTOR TRUST'S PRIMARY MISSION IS TO PROVIDE FREE CARE AND ASSISTANCE TO INJURED, SICK OR ORPHANED WILD BIRDS. ITS MISSION ALSO INCLUDES EDUCATING PEOPLE ABOUT WILD BIRDS, ESPECIALLY BIRDS OF PREY AND PROVIDING A HUMAN EXAMPLE FOR OTHERS. QUALIFIED AS AN EXEMPT ORGANIZATION FROM FEDERAL TAXES UNDER INTERNAL REVENUE CODE (IRS) SECTION 501(C)(3), THE RAPTOR TRUST IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY THROUGH GRANTS AND CONTRIBUTIONS FROM PRIVATE CORPORATIONS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

CARE FOR INJURED AND ORPHANED HAWKS, OWLS, (RAPTORS) AND ANY OTHER WILD BIRDS. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ARE PROVIDED FOR SCHOOLS, SCOUTS, CLUBS AND OTHER INTERESTED GROUPS AS A MEANS OF OUTREACH AND AWARENESS.
