JEWISH FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WERE HELPED TO "KOSHERIZE"-RENDER KOSHER-THEIR KITCHENS AND WERE GUIDED IN THE INTRICACIES OF KOSHER FOOD PREPARATION AND KOSHER OBSERVANCE DETAILS.110 KITCHENS WERE THUS KOSHERIZED IN 2021, ALONG WITH SEVERAL COMMERCIAL INSTITUIONS WHICH WERE KOSHERIZED FOR THE DURATION OF THE PASSOVER HOLIDAY AND ALSO KOSHER FOOD PREPARATIONS FOR JEWISH WEDDINGS. THESE INSTITUTIONS AND MANY OF THE 110 FAMILIES WERE ABLE TO PAY THE STANDARD FEE. MANY WHO WERE NOT ABLE TO PAY THE STANDARD FEE HAD THE KOSHERING SERVICE PROVIDED AT A DISCOUNT FEE.
CHARITABLE SUPPORT WAS GRANTED TO VARIOUS JEWISH INSTITUTIONS OF VARIOUS TYPES, SUCH AS EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITIES OF VARIOUS TYPES, ALONG WITH THE CHARITABLE SUPPORT OF VARIOUS NEEDY INDIVIDUALS, AS CHARITY IS AN IMPORTANT PILLAR OF THE JEWISH RELIGIOUS HERITAGE.
