GRANT PROGRAMS - THE ORGANIZATION OBTAINED FUNDING FROM ROCHESTER AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ON THE ARTS TO OFFER COMPETITIVE GRANT PROGRAMS TO ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS FOR ARTS-RELATED PROJECTS: CAPACITY BUILDING GRANTS - A FUNDING PROGRAM FOR NOT-FOR-PROFIT CULTURAL ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORTS PROJECTS ENHANCING OPERATIONS, INFRASTRUCTURE, AND LONG-TERM CAPACITY. WEBSITE - AS PART OF THE MOVE TO THE NEW OFFICE SPACE, THE COMPUTER SYSTEMS WERE UPGRADED, THE DATABASES WERE PURGED AND THE COMMUNICATION ABILITIES WERE INCREASED. THE NEW WEBSITE SHOULD BE OPERATIONAL BY THE MIDDLE OF 2020. THE NEW DATABASE WILL HAVE EASIER ACCESS TO THE EVENTS CALENDAR, NON-STATIC DISPLAY MODULES AND ACCURATE AND RELEVANT INFORMATION THAT IMPACTS THE ARTS AND CULTURE IN OUR COMMUNITY OF ARTISTS, ORGANIZATIONS, PATRONS AND DONORS. THE STRATEGY - MOVING FORWARD, THE ORGANIZATION HAS LISTENED TO THE COMMUNITY AND HAVE DIVERSIFIED SERVICES. THE ORGANIZATION HAS PARTNERED WITH THE ROCHESTER AREA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE OF EQUITY IN PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTS AND CULTURE, PARTICULARLY THE ISSUE OF ACCESSIBILITY FOR OUR UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS. THE ORGANIZATION HAS HOSTED MEETINGS THAT PROVIDE SPACE AND OPPORTUNITY FOR DIALOGUE. THESE MEETINGS RANGED IN SIZE FROM OVER 100 PARTICIPANTS TO SMALLER GROUPS. THE ORGANIZATION CHANGED OFFICE SPACE IN 2019. THE NEW SPACE IS IN THE SAME BUILDING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE ARTS. THIS MOVE ALLOWED IMPROVEMENTS IN OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES AND INCREASED THE ORGANIZATION'S ABILITY TO PROVIDE THIS MEETING SPACE FOR OUR PARTNERS AND SUBSCRIBERS.
