NEW YORK STATE P-TECH:PPI RECRUITS EMPLOYER PARTNERS AND PROVIDES TECHNICAL SUPPPORT, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT, TRAINING AND MENTORING TO THE PLANNING AND STEERING COMMITTEE FOR THE 37 P-TECH 9-14 SCHOOLS IN NEW YORK. THESE SCHOOLS ARE IMPLEMENTING AN INNOVATIVE MODEL TO PREPARE TEENAGERS TO COMPLETE THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMAS, AN AAS DEGREE AND WORKPLACE PREPARATION FOR AN ENTRY LEVEL JOB INTO A MIDDLE CLASS CAREER.
