THE BOROUGH OF AVALON COMPENSATES STAFF FOR SALARIES AND BENEFITS. AS A RESULT, THE AVALON RESCUE SQUAD, INC. HAS NO EXPENSES FOR SALARIES AND BENEFITS. THE AVALON RESCUE SQUAD, INC. PURCHASES LIFE SAVING EQUIPMENT AND APPURTENANCES FOR EMS AND ANCILLARY FIRST RESPONDERS IN AVALON, AND PARTICIPATES IN COMMUNITY PUBLIC EDUCATION THROUGH PUBLIC CPR AND AED TRAINING AND PARTICIPATION IN COMMUNITY EVENTS EVENTS.
