NURSERY THROUGH EIGHTH GRADE EDUCATION TO CHILDREN OF THE PRINCETON AREA. WE LEAD OUR STUDENTS TOWARDS HIGH ACCOMPLISHMENT WITHOUT FITTING THEM INTO STANDARDIZED NORMS.

THE WALDORF SCHOOL OF THE PRINCETON AREA EDUCATES CHILDREN IN NURSERY THROUGH GRADE EIGHT. THE SCHOOL FOSTERS IN THE CHILDREN A LOVE OF LEARNING WHICH SUPPORTS THEIR ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT WITH EXPERIENTIAL, PRACTICAL WORK, AND FINE ARTS. THEY ARE EDUCATED TO BECOME CREATIVE AND IMAGINATIVE THINKERS. THE EDUCATION NURTURES THE DEVELOPMENT OF INHERENT ABILITIES, INTELLIGENCE, AND SKILLS OF YOUNG PEOPLE SO THAT THEY MAY BECOME WELL-EDUCATED, WHOLE, WELL-BALANCED INDIVIDUALS ABLE TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF TOMORROW. THIS YEAR'S GRADUATES HAVE MATRICULATED TO AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND INDEPENDENT HIGH SCHOOLS OF THEIR CHOICE. THE SCHOOL WELCOMES CHILDREN OF ALL FINANCIAL BACKGROUNDS. APPROXIMATELY, 20% OF THE BUDGET IS COMMITTED TO ENABLING CHILDREN FROM FAMILIES OF LESSER FINANCIAL MEANS TO ATTEND THE SCHOOL.
