THE SHORT HILLS ASSOCIATION SENDS PERIODIC EMAIL NEWSLETTERS TO MEMBERS PROVIDING INFORMATION ON CURRENT TOPICS OF INTEREST TO THE COMMUNITY CONCERNING LOCAL MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACTIVITIES, PARTICULARLY THE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE AND THE PLANNING BOARD. BY OCCASIONALLY MEETING WITH TOWNSHIP OFFICIALS AND ATTENDING KEY COMMITTEE MEETINGS WE ATTEMPT TO REPORT AND HIGHLIGHT THE ISSUES OF SPECIAL IMPORTANCE TO RESIDENTS. DURING EACH ANNUAL ELECTION CYCLE WE ORGANIZE, CONDUCT AND MODERATE IMPARTIAL ON-LINE OR IN-PERSON ELECTION FORUMS AMONG CANDIDATES FOR THE TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE TO ALLOW RESIDENTS TO MAKE INFORMED VOTING DECISIONS ON ISSUES AND CANDIDATES.
