TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE IMPROVEMENTS IN THE PRODUCTION AND MARKETING OF ALL PHASES OF THE VEGETABLE INDUSTRY IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. TO DISSENIMANTE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GROWING AND MARKETING OF VEGETABLES THROUGH COOPERATION WITH THE NEW JERSEY AGRICULTURAL EXPERIMENT STATION AND RUTGERS COOPERATIVE RESEARCH AND EXTENSION, THE NEW JERSEY AND US DEPARTMENTS OF AGRICULTURE, AND ALL OTHER EXISTING ORGANIZATIONS AND COMMITTEES WORKING FOR OR INTERESTED IN THE VEGETABLE INDUSTRY OF THE GARDEN STATE.

OPERATION OF ANNUAL TRADE SHOW AND ANCILLARY EVENTS TO PROMOTE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE ORGANIZATION AND THE BENEFITS OF LOCALLY GROWN VEGETABLE CROPS. THE CONVENTION IS HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE CONVENTION AT THE SAME TIME AND UTILIZING THE SAME FACILITY WHILE ATTRACTING A WIDER AUDIENCE AS WELL AS UTILIZING COST SHARING AT THE CONVENTION.
