FOOD JFCS MAINTAINS AN ON-SITE AND MOBILE FOOD PANTRY PROGRAM. IN THE PAST FISCAL YEAR, 193 UNIQUE FAMILIES UTILIZED THE BRICK-AND-MORTAR PANTRY. DURING THE SAME TIME FRAME, THE MOBILE PANTRY SUPPORTED 4,821 INDIVIDUALS. THE MOBILE PANTRY MAINTAINS 23 REGULAR DISTRIBUTION PARTNERS.
SENIOR SERVICES - JFCS OFFERS A WIDE ARRAY OF PROGRAMS FOR OLDER ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES INCLUDING INFORMATION & REFERRAL, AGING IN PLACE SUPPORT, AND PROGRAMS FOR HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS. WE SUPPORT 21 HOLOCAUST SURVIVORS THROUGH CARE MANAGEMENT AND A MONTHLY CAF EUROPA. IN ADDITION, WE SUPPORTED 17 SENIOR OUTREACH SERVICE (SOS) CLIENTS, LOW-INCOME SENIORS WHO NEED RESOURCES AND CARE, BY CONNECTING THEM WITH HOME CARE, PERSONAL EMERGENCY RESPONSE SYSTEMS, AND MEAL AND/OR GROCERY DELIVERY. 100 SECURE@HOME MEMBERS RECEIVE REGULAR CARE THROUGH 24/7 PHONE SUPPORT, MONTHLY CHECK-INS, ACCESS TO REFERRAL LISTS, AND AN ANNUAL GERIATRIC CARE ASSESSMENT. IN THE PAST YEAR, JFCS HAS ALSO FIELDED 134 CALLS TO THE SENIOR HELPLINE, WITH OUR CARE MANAGERS ANSWERING A VARIETY OF INQUIRIES AND CONNECTING SENIOR CALLERS TO APPROPRIATE RESOURCES, BOTH INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY.
COUNSELING JFCS COUNSELING SERVICES OFFER AFFORDABLE, ACCESSIBLE, CONFIDENTIAL TREATMENT TO INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH. LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKERS HELP THOSE WHO EXPERIENCE PERSONAL OR RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS, OR THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL OR ENVIRONMENTAL CRISES. IN FY22, WE SERVED 292 CLIENTS THROUGH ALL MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS.
