SHARING HOPE MINISTRIES, INC. IS AN ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO WORKING AMONG PEOPLE WHOSE LIVES HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY NATURAL DISASTER, POVERTY, DISEASE AND FAMINE. THE ORGANIZATION RESPONDS TO NATURAL DISASTERS BY SENDING VOLUNTEER WORK CREWS TO REBUILD HOMES, HOPE AND LIVES. SHARING HOPE SERVES AS A CHANNEL FOR CHURCHES, COMMUNITY GROUPS AND MISSION GROUPS IN THEIR EFFORTS TO PROVIDE FOOD, HEALTH CARE, EDUCATION AND SHELTER TO AFFECTED COMMUNITIES. SHARING HOPE MINISTRIES, INC. PROVIDES VOLUNTEER GROUPS TO COMMUNITIES IN CRISIS.

DISASTER RELIEF: LAKE CHARLES, LA: SHM OPENED A VOLUNTEER BASE IN LAKE CHARLES AFTER HURRICAN LAURA HIT THS COMMUNITY. JUST SIX WEEKS LATER HURRICANE DELTA FOLLWED NEARLY THE SAME PATH. SHM AND 246 VOLUNTEERS GAVE 9,270 HOURS TO ASSIST PEOPLE TO REBUILD HOMES AND LIVES. 30 HOME OWNERS WERE HELPED TO RETURN TO THEIR HOMES. WAVERLY, TENNESSEE: IN AUGUST 2021 HEAVY RAINFALL RESULTED IN WIDESPREAD FLASH FLOODING ACROSS MID-WESTERN TENNESSEE. THE RURAL COMMUNITY OF WAVERLY WAS DATASTROPHIC. SHM SET UP OPERATION IN WAVERLY IN DECEMBER 2021. 9 VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED 318 HOURS OF SERVICE INCLUDING GUTTING THE HOME OF A YOUNG FAMILY.
INTERNATIONAL ASSISTANCE: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC: SHM SHIPPED SEVEN BARRELS OF SUPPLIES TO MISSIONARIES IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. THE CHILD SPONSORSHIP CONTINUED. BACKPACKS PROVIDING SCHOOL SUPPLIES, SHOES AND A UNIFORM ARE DISTRIBUTED TO EACH CHILD. A CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION IS PROVIDED. PASTOR LUIS AND STAFF DELIVERED FOOD AND MEDICINE TO CHILDREN WHOSE FAMILIES WERE IN NEED. HAITI: MONEY WAS PROVIDED TO SHIP MUCH NEEDED SUPPLIES. SHM PROVIDED TWO 4X4 WOODEN CRATES OF MEDICAL AND HYGIENE SUPPLIES TO THE MISSION PARTNERS IN THE NORTHWEST REGION OF HAITI.
