OUR MISSION IS TO SUPPORT HEALTHCARE IN SOUTHEAST ALABAMA AND SURROUNDING AREAS. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE HOUSTON COUNTY HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY DBA SOUTHEAST HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER (SOUTHEAST HEALTH) AND ITS AFFILIATES BY ESTABLISHING PARTNERSHIPS IN ORDER TO ENHANCE HEALTH AND WELLNESS IN SOUTHEAST ALABAMA, NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHWEST GEORGIA. THE FOUNDATION WORKS TO STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN SOUTHEAST HEALTH, ITS AFFILIATES AND THE COMMUNITY WHILE HELPING FUND BOTH PRESENT AND FUTURE EQUIPMENT, TECHNOLOGY, FACILITY EXPANSION AND CLINICAL PROGRAM NEEDS. THE FOUNDATION SEEKS TO SUPPORT THE FEASIBILITY, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION OF PHYSICAL STRUCTURES OUTLINED IN THE LONG-RANGE FACILITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR SOUTHEAST HEALTH AND ITS AFFILIATES; ASSIST IN UNDERWRITING NEW TECHNOLOGY AND LIFESAVING MEDICAL EQUIPMENT; PREVENT OR LESSEN THE IMPACT DETECTION PROGRAMS AND INTERVENTION; FACILITATE INITIATIVES THAT ENCOURAGE A HEALTHY COMMUNITY; AND IDENTIFY AND C
