THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS TO BE USED FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES BENEFITTING YOUTH.


EXPENSES HERE ACCOUNT FOR EMPLOYEE SALARY, BENEFITS AND PAYROLL TAXES FOR TWO FULL TIME FOUNDATION EMPLOYEES. THESE EMPLOYEES SPEND THE MAJORITY OF THEIR TIME FUNDRAISING ON BEHELF OF THE DALE JR FOUNDATION VIA VARIOUS AVENUES INCLUDING ONLINE GIVING, ONLINE AUCTIONS, RAFFLES & SPECIAL EVENTS. THE CREDIT CARD FEES ARE PRIMARILY CHARITABLE DONATIONS MADE ONLINE AND EBAY RELATED FEES FOR USE. THE REGISTRATION FEES ARE THE FEES TO ACQUIRE SOLICITATION LICENSES IN REQUIRED STATES.


THE DALE JR. FOUNDATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE CHILDREN OF JR MOTORSPORTS EMPLOYEES FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION INCLUDING 4-YEAR COLLEGE, 2-YEAR COLLEGE, TECHNICAL OR TRADE SCHOOL. EACH SCHOLARSHIP IS FOR $2,500 AND AWARDED ANNUALLY. SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS CAN RE-APPLY FOR 3 YEARS (FOR A MAXIMUM TOTAL OF 4 YEARS).
