GLEAN TEAM COORDINATES VOLUNTEERS TO HARVEST SURPLUS PRODUCE FROM FARMS AND DISTRIBUTES TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE PEOPLE IN NEED OF FOOD ASSISTANCE. PRESENTATION AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE PRESENTED INFORMATION ABOUT OUR WORK AND HOW IT CAN BE REPLICATEED - AT WORKSHOPS, CONFERENCES, AND PRESENTATIONS TO OTHER GROUPS WITH SIMILAR MISSIONS. PUBLIC INFORMATION DISTRUBTIONS DISTRIBUTED INFORMATION TO THE PUBLIC AT FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE EVENTS, WELLNESS FAIRS AND NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENTS, FAIR HAVEN VISITORS CENTER ON THE TOPICS OF HEALTHY EATING, CONNECTING LOCAL FARMS, AND GROWING YOUR OWN FOOD. EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PRODUCED THE 12TH ANNUAL LOCAL PUBLICATION PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT LOCAL FOODS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM. HOSTED LECTURES, MOVIES, OTHER EVENTS ON THE TOPIC OF LOCAL FARMS FOOD SYSTEMS. ATTENDING PUBLIC EVENTS ATSCHOOLS, COMMUNITY GARDENS, AND MUCH MORE TO SHARE INFORMATION AND EDUCATION.
