1. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE KENNEWICK POLICE DEPARTMENT WITH DONATED $50 VISA CARDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,500 TOTAL TO HELP OFFICERS WITH DIFFICULT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE OR OTHER ACUTE SITUATIONS WHERE CITIZENS NEED TIME-SENSITIVE ANGEL FUNDING.
2. THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTED THE KENNEWICK POLICE DEPARTMENT FOUNDATION WITH A CHECK FOR $2,500 FOR THEIR HOLIDAY FOOD GIVEAWAY IN NOVEMBER OF 2021. THE MONEY WAS USED TO PURCHASE FOOD AND GIFT CARDS FROM A GROCERY STORE TO SUPPORT NEEDY FAMILIES IN THE BENTON COUNTY AREA. THE EVENT WAS A DRIVE THRU FORMAT FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS.
