FLOSSMOOR MONTESSORI SCHOOL IS SERVING APPROXIMATELY 60 CHILDREN WITH VARIETY OF INTERESTS AND ABILITIES, RANGING FROM AGES 15 MONTHS TO 6 YEARS. THE NURTURING ENVIRONMENT OF OUR SCHOOL HELP CHILDREN BE INDEPENDENT, TO CARE FOR SELF AND HELP EACH OTHER. OUR BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CARE PROGRAM AS WELL AS SPRING, SUMMER AND WINTER CAMPS, DURING THE SCHOOL BREAK, PROVIDE CONVENIENCE FOR WORKING PARENTS. PARENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY APPRECIATE THE PARENT EDUCATION EVENTS SUCH AS "FOLLOWING MONTESSORI AT HOME" LEARNING PRACTICAL TIPS TO HELP THE CHILD, SOCIAL EVENTS SUCH AS SPLASH PAD SOCIAL FOR BACK TO SCHOOL, GRAND PARENTS DAY, WINTER CELEBRATION, PICNIC AND FIELD DAY AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR AND MANY OTHER. MONTESSORI EDUCATION ENCOURAGES SELF DISCIPLINE, CRITICAL THINKING, GRACE AND COURTESY PROMOTING SELF ESTEEM AND LEADERSHIP QUALITIES IN CHILDREN.
