IN 2022, THE CONVERENCE WAS IN PERSON AGAIN WITH MANY HIGH-QUALITY ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED AND AFTER SCIENTIFIC REVIEW, SEVERAL AWARDS WERE GIVEN TO THE TOP TRAINEES. THE AAI UNDERGRADUATE AWARD WAS GIVEN TO THE FIVE BEST UNDERGRADUATE ABSTRACTS (CERTIFICATE AND $150), THE AAI YOUNG INVESTIGATOR AWARD WAS GIVEN TO THE TOP ABSTRACTS IN THE 23 WORKSHOPS (CERTIFICATE AND $200), AND THE NATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY (NMSS) TRAVEL AWARD WAS GIVEN TO THE TOP FIVE ABSTRACTS FOCUSED ON NEUROSCIENCE AND AUTOIMMUNITY (CERTIFICATE AND $700).
