THE PURPOSE OF THE BID IS TO FOSTER THE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND CULTURAL VITALITY OF THE SOUTH 27TH STREET BUSINESS DISTRICT BETWEEN OKLAHOMA AVENUE AND COLLEGE AVENUE, THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MILWAUKEE METROPOLITAN AREA.

ENHANCE ECONOMIC VIABILITY OF LOCAL BUSINESS, ENHANCE PROPERTY VALUES, MAXIMIZE BUSINESS FACILITIES AND PROMOTE THE FRIENDLINESS AND QUALITY OF THE S 27TH ST BUSINESS DISTRICT. OUR ORGANIZATION COMPLETED AN BEAUTIFICATION, CURB APPEAL DESIGN AND SAFETY UPGRADE TO OUR COUNTY OWNED SHELTERS THROUGHOUT THE BUSINESS CORRIDOR. IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION SIGNED A DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT TO INSTALL A PUBLIC/GREEN SPACE IN 2022.
