Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

PHILANTHROPY AND YOUTH (PAY) IS A PROGRAM THAT INTRODUCES HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS TO PHILANTHROPY. IN 2021, 500 STUDENTS FROM 18 AREA HIGH SCHOOLS MADE 121 GRANTS TO 83 ORGANIZATIONS TOTALING $90,000.


THE PAY SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES SELECT PAY STUDENTS WITH A SUMMER INTERNSHIP AT A LOCAL NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION. THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN PAUSED DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC.


THE BARRY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM PROVIDES COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE PHILANTHROPY AND YOUTH PROGRAM. IN 2021, SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED FOR $270,800.


THE PAY FORWARD PROGRAM IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR GRADUATED STUDENTS TO CONTINUE ENGAGEMENT WITH OUR PHILANTHROPY AND YOUTH (PAY) PROGRAM AND OTHER PHILANTHROPIC ENDEAVORS AFTER HIGH SCHOOL. IN 2021, PAY FORWARD GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $7,000 WERE AWARDED.
