THERE ARE MANY REASONS WHY A PROFESSIONAL'S PERFORMANCE MAY BE COMPROMISED. THEY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ILLNESS, SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDERS, STRESS AND WORK LIFE IMBALANCE, ETHICS AND WORKPLACE DYSFUNCTION, AND COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT. PU'ULU LAPA'AU HAS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE WITH ALL OF THESE CONCERNS AND HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN NAVIGATING THE OFTEN-DIFFICULT JOURNEY TO MAINTAIN, OR RETURN TO, CLINICAL PRACTICE.
