THE VISION OF THE WHYCSA IS TO PROVIDE YOUNG SAILORS LIVING IN OUR OCEAN COMMUNITY THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THE JOY AND THRILL OF LEARNING TO SAIL BY PROVIDING EQUIPMENT AND INSTRUCTION TO ASSIST THEM IN DEVELOPING NOT JUST THE ABILITY TO SAIL, BUT ALSO ENCOURAGING THEM AS THEY DEVELOP SELF-CONFIDENCE, A MOTIVATION TO SUCCEED AND STRONG LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE SAILING ASSOCIATION WILL ALSO SUPPORT CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITES DIRECTLY RELATED TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR SAILING COMPETITION AND MARITIME EDUCATION.
