OUR HOLISTIC APPROACH HELPS PEOPLE RE-IMAGINE THEMSELVES BEYOND THEIR CURRENT CIRCUMSTANCES AND TO INSTEAD SEE THEMSELVES AS VALUABLE AND VALUED ASSETS WITH UNLIMITED POTENTIAL. BIRTHRIGHT BY LEGACY IS A FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND ENTREPRENEURSHIP-THEMED SERIES DESIGNED PROGRAM OF STUDY SPECIFICALLY FOR AFRICAN AMERICAN TEENAGERS. THE ACADEMY OFFERS A UNIQUE CURATED INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP EXPERIENCE THAT FILLS THE GAP IN SHOWING THE INTEGRAL CONNECTION AND GENERATIVE INTERACTION BETWEEN INNOVATION LEADERSHIP AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP. THROUGH A SERIES OF VIRTUAL WORKSHOP SESSIONS IN-PERSON COACHING SESSIONS AND FIELD EXPERIENCES AND PAID SUMMER INTERNSHIPS - 15 STUDENTS ARE PREPARED TO MEET REAL-WORLD CHALLENGES HANDLE FINANCIAL RESOURCES AND TRANSFORM THEIR LIVES AND THEIR COMMUNITIES.
BACK-2-SCHOOL DRIVE-UP RESOURCE FAIR AT GEORGIA INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER JULY 31 2022 - IGNITE PROVIDED BACKPACKS SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR 1500 YOUTH AS WELL AS GROCERIES FOR 600 FAMILIES. 23 COMMUNITY PARTNER & RESOURCE ORGANIZATIONS WERE PRESENT WITH REPRESENTATION FROM EVERY ELECTED OFFICIAL IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE PARK AS WELL AS COUNTY AND STATE OFFICIALS.
