CAPITOL HILL VILLAGE IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION CREATED TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR RESIDENTS OF THE CAPITOL HILL COMMUNITY WHO WISH TO STAY IN THEIR HOMES AS THEY GROW OLDER. MEMBERS WILL E-MAIL OR CALL A SINGLE TELEPHONE NUMBER TO ARRANGE ASSISTANCE OR TO PARTICIPATE IN A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES. ON RECEIVING A CALL FOR SUPPORT, THE ORGANIZATION WILL PROVIDE SUPPORT WITH VOLUNTEERS FIRST, THEN, WHEN NECESSARY TURN TO PREFERRED VENDORS. FOR THE YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2020 THE ORGANIZATION ESTIMATES THAT THERE WERE 6,052 SERVICES PERFORMED BY VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDING 842 VOLUNTEER-RUN EVENTS.
