GCNF WORKS TOGETHER WITH GOVERNMENT LEADERS AND A DIVERSE NETWORK OF PARTNERS AROUND THE WORLD TO DELIVER SUSTAINABLE AND NUTRITIOUS SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAMS THAT GIVE EVERY CHILD THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND THRIVE.

GLOBAL SURVEY OF SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAMS: PILOTED IN 2018, AND LAUNCHED IN 2019, THE GLOBAL SURVEY IS USED TO DEVELOP A BASELINE DATABASE ON THE CURRENT STATE OF SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAMS IN 130+ COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD. GLOBAL CHILD NUTRITION FOUNDATION LAUNCHED A SECOND GLOBAL SURVEY IN 2021 FOR THE PERIOD JULY 2021 THROUGH MARCH 2022. THE RESULTS WERE SHARED IN A REPORT CALLED SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAMS AROUND THE WORLD.


GLOBAL CHILD NUTRITION FORUM: THE FORUM IS A LEARNING EXCHANGE AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CONFERENCE HELD TO SUPPORT COUNTRIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SUSTAINABLE SCHOOL FEEDING PROGRAMS. IT ENCOURAGES OPEN DIALOGUE AND THE SHARING OF EXPERIENCES, BEST PRACTICES, LESSONS, CHALLENGES, AND OPTIONS TO SUSTAINABLY SUPPORT NUTRITIOUS, HOME-GROWN SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAMS. THE OCTOBER 2022 FORUM WAS HELD IN THE AFRICAN COUNTRY OF BENIN.
