THE ALSTON BEECH FOUNDATION (ABF) WAS CREATED TO PROVIDE SMALL PROGRAM GRANTS TO AREA NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHOSE MISSION IS COMPATIBLE WITH THAT OF ABF. THE GRANTS PROVIDED WILL COMPLEMENT AND FOSTER OTHER REVITALIZATION EFFORTS, WHICH WILL ULTIMATELY IMPROVE THE NORTH CENTRAL PHILADELPHIA COMMUNITY. COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DECAY AND GROWTH, THAT IS WHY IT IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE FOUNDATION TO PROVIDE FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE PROVIDING NEEDED PROGRAMS OR SERVICES TO THE AREA RESIDENTS.
