THE DEFINING CHARACTERISTIC OF A CRISTO REY EDUCATION IS THE CORPORATE WORK STUDY PROGRAM. APPROXIMATELY 300 STUDENTS WORK ONE DAY PER WEEK IN A CORPORATE SETTING, GAINING INVALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE, EARNING APPROXIMATELY HALF OF THE COST OF THEIR EDUCATION, AND GAINING INVALUABLE KNOWLEDGE OF WORKPLACE CULTURE AND EXPECTATIONS. A TEAM OF FOUR STUDENTS ROTATE WORK DAYS TO COVER A FULL-TIME ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. CURRENTLY, MORE THAN 100 AREA BUSINESSES EMPLOY CRISTO REY STUDENTS.
