IOWA PUBLIC RADIO (IPR) MANAGES THE RADIO GROUPS OF ISU, UI & UNI. THE STATEWIDE PUBLIC RADIO NETWORK (A TOTAL OF 26 STATIONS) NOW SERVES 250,000 LISTENERS WITH 3 PROGRAMMING STREAMS: NEWS, NEWS/STUDIO ONE AND CLASSICAL. IPR'S NETWORK SERVES RURAL AND URBAN IOWA, TOUCHING ALL OF IOWA'S 99 COUNTIES. IPR NEWS AND TALK SHOWS INFORM WITH REPORTING THAT IS BALANCED, INTELLIGENT, RESPECTFUL AND INTRIGUING. IPR HOSTS 2 LOCALLY PRODUCED TALK SHOWS, "TALK OF IOWA AND "RIVER TO RIVER".
