COVID-19 PREVENTED US FROM CONTINUING OUR FOOD SHARES WITH THE HOMELESS AFTER 13 YEARS OF SERVICE, SO WE SHIFTED OUR EFFORTS TO INDIVIDUAL CASEWORK TO SUPPORT IMPOVERISHED AND HOMELESS FAMILIES FACING FOOD INSECURITY. WE ALSO PROVIDED 16 GRANTS TO MINISTRIES THAT CONTINUED TO SERVE THE POOR AND HOMELESS IN SOME CAPACITY. DURING THE YEAR, AS PART OF OUR INDIVIDUAL CASE WORK, WE SHELTERED SIX FAMILIES AND PROVIDED THREE RENT/UTILITY SUBSIDIES TO HELP PEOPLE AVOID EVICTION. WE ALSO HELPED RESTORE ST. FRANCIS HOUSE OF HOSPITALITY TO LIVABLE CONDITIONS, RENOVATING THE RESIDENTIAL HOME THAT SERVES HOMELESS MEN SUFFERING FROM AIDS OR HIV-VIRUS, INSIDE AND OUT. IN LATE JULY, WE SHIFTED OUR FOCUS AWAY FROM SUPPORTING IMPOVERISHED AND HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN ORLANDO, FL TO SERVING ORPHANS IN ETHIOPIA. WE DEVELOPED AN AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM FOR 2,500 ORPHANS RESIDING IN DEBRE ZEYIT, ETHIOPIA. THIS REQUIRED US TO PURCHASE AND SHIP (VIA AN OCEAN VESSEL) ALL THE MATERIALS NEEDED TO EXECUTE
