AIMS AT THE PROMOTION AND ADVANCEMENT OF SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING IN THE FIELD OF CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL MICROSYSTEMS, AND TO STIMULATE THE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND INFORMATION BETWEEN ACADEMIC, INDUSTRIAL AND GOVERNMENT RESEARCHERS. THE CBMS SUPPORTS AND SPONSORS THE YEARLY MICRO TOTAL ANALYSIS SYSTEMS (MICROTAS) CONFERENCE THAT HAS BEEN HELD SINCE 1994, FIRST ON A BIENNIAL BASIS, AND SINCE 2000 ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. THE CBMS BOARD INSTALLS AND DESIGNATES THE FUTURE CHAIRPERSON(S) AS WELL AS THE TECHNICAL PROGRAM COMMITTEE OF THE MICROTAS CONFERENCE.
FROM 23 - 27 OCTOBER 2022, THE 26TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MINIATURIZED SYSTEMS FOR CHEMISTRY AND LIFE SCIENCES (TAS 2022) WILL BE HELD AS A HYBRID MEETING. THE IN-PERSON COMPONENT - HELD AT THE HANGZHOU INTERNATIONAL EXPO CENTER IN HANGZHOU, CHINA - WILL BE PAIRED WITH A VIRTUAL CONFERENCE SITE HOSTED ON-LINE.
