IN 2017, SANCTUARY FINE TUNED AND TWEAKED SOME OF OUR INITIATIVES. WE CONTINUED OUR LEARNING WORK EXPERIENCES USING HORSES AND THE RECREATION EXPERIENCE BUSINESS INVOLVING 27 YOUTH. WE MORE CLOSELY TARGETED OUR ACADEMIC AND EXPERIENCE SCHOLARSHIPS TO EVENTS THAT HAD MEASURABLE RESULTS. WE HELPED SIX YOUNG WOMEN GO THROUGH EDUCATION FOR BIRTH OPTIONS IN THE NORTH WEST. SANCTUARY HOSTED ITS FIRST SANCTIONED EQUESTRIAN EVENT AND HAD PARTICIPANTS FROM FOUR STATES AND ALL AGE GROUPS. SANCTUARY PROVIDED EMERGENCY CRISIS INTERVENTION FOR NUMEROUS FAMILIES DIRECTLY STEPPING INTO FIVE ACTIVE SUICIDE PREVENTION SITUATIONS, EACH OF WHICH ENDED IN NONEXECUTIONS. FINALLY WE CREATED A FUNDING SOURCE FOR OUR EMERGENCY MEDICAL ACCOUNT AND BEGAN A LIFE FLIGHT PROVISION PROGRAM.SANCTUARY CONTINUES TO GROW TO MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR PEOPLE FOSTERING THEIR GROWTH.
