THE MISSION OF CHILE PEPPER, INC. IS TO PROMOTE, ASSIST, AND SUPPORT HIGH SCHOOL TRACK, FIELD, AND CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS AND PROGRAMS WITHIN THE CONFINES OF BENTON AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES, ARKANSAS AND TO PURSUE A PURPOSE AND PLAN OF OPERATIONS WHICH WILL BE TO PROMOTE THE INTELLECTUAL WELL-BEING OF YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN BY ASSISTING THEM IN THEIR INDIVIDUAL SCHOOL'S TRACK AND FIELD PROGRAMS AND TO OFFER THEM FRIENDLY COUNSEL, ADVICE, AND ASSISTANCE; AND TO ENCOURAGE AND CULTIVATE THE ART OF TRACK AND FIELD AND RELATED PURSUITS AND TO ASSIST IN FOSTERING GOOD CLEAN COMPETITION , A HIGH LEVEL OF SPORTSMANSHIP, TO PROMOTE INTEGRITY AND GOOD FAITH, AND JUST AND EQUITABLE PRINCIPLES IN SPORTS ACTIVITIES.

IN 2023, THE CHILE PEPPER FESTIVAL GENERATED ENOUGH REVENUES TO DONATE 66,500 TO 22 HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY PROGRAMS IN OUR FOUR COUNTY AREA OF NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. THE AMOUNT GIVEN TO EACH SCHOOL VARIED BASED ON SCHOOL SIZE AND NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED BY EACH SCHOOL TO SUPPORT EVENT EXECUTION. ALSO CONSIDERED WERE PARTICIPATION IN THE EVENT, NUMBER OF ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN CROSS COUNTRY AND THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF THE SCHOOL AND THE ATHLETES. ALL ATHLETES PARTICIPATING IN CROSS COUNTRY PROGRAMS AT THESE 22 SCHOOLS BENEFITED FROM THESE DONATIONS.
