TO PROVIDE RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES IN A LEAGUE FORMAT FOR CHILDREN AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE COMMUNITY. MAINTAIN SPECIALLY DESIGNED FACILITIES FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND PROMOTE AWARENESS OF THE PROGRAMMED ACTIVITIES TO INCREASE PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY OF DISABILITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE LEAGUE IS THE ONLY YEAR-ROUND PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES IN THE COMMUNITY, ENABLING PARTICIPANTS TO PLAY IN A LEAGUE SETTING LIKE ABLE-BODIED PEERS. PROVIDING PROGRAMMING FOR BASEBALL AND TEE BALL IS OUR PRIMARY FOCUS. THE SPECIALLY DESIGNED FIELD WAS BUILT ESPECIALLY FOR THIS PROGRAM.


PROVIDE A COMMUNITY SERVICE COMPONENT TO THE PROGRAM WHICH INCLUDES VOLUNTEERS FROM UNIVERSITY AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE HEALTH-RELATED PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZATIONS ASSISTING THE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS.


SUMMER PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES ARE INCLUSIVE AND REQUIRE MORE VOLUNTEERS, PLANNING, AND SCHEDULING. PROGRAMS INCLUDE PROVIDING SERVICES TO STATE CENTER CLIENTS.
