WE CARE TEAM: THE WE CARE TEAM IS MADE UP OF CARING PROFESSIONALS AND VOLUNTEERS WHO WORK TOGETHER TO SERVE ELDERLY, DISABLED AND DISADVANTAGED INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN NEED. THE PROGRAM WORKS TO CARE FOR THE WHOLE PERSON, NOT JUST MEETING PHYSICAL NEEDS, BUT PROVIDING HOME-BASED COACHING SERVICES AS WELL AS RESOURCES, ADVOCACY AND EDUCATIONAL SKILL BUILDING THAT HELPS TO ALSO MEET THE CLIENTS EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS. TEAM MEMBERS ALSO PROVIDE THROUGH A WIDE NETWORK OF INFORMAL SUPPORTS: MECHANICS, HOUSEHOLD FURNISHINGS, CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND DURABLE MEDICAL GOODS.
FURNITURE FOR FAMILIES: THIS ALLOWS THE ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE HOME FURNISHINGS FOR DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS. THE ORGANIZATION WILL PICK UP AND CLEAN DONATIONS WHICH ARE GIVEN AWAY TO THOSE WHO QUALIFY FOR THAT SERVICE.
