HARFORD COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION INVESTS IN THE SUCCESS OF OUR STUDENTS BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO PROVIDE EVERY CHILD, REGARDLESS OF BACKGROUND, FAMILY STRUCTURE OR ECONOMIC STATUS, THE OPPORTUNITY TO ACHIEVE PERSONAL SUCCESS.HARFORD COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION INVESTS IN THE EDUCATION OF 38,000 YOUTH IN HARFORD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES TO COMPLEMENT THE LEARNING AND GROWTH OF EACH STUDENT REGARDLESS OF THEIR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES. HOME LEARNING RESOURCES - THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED RESOURCES AND MATERIALS TO STUDENTS IN NEED SO THAT THEY HAVE THE TOOLS NEEDED TO PARTICIPATE IN REMOTE LEARNING DURING THE PANDEMIC.
TOOLS FOR SCHOOLS - TOOLS FOR SCHOOLS IS A SCHOOL SUPPLY RESOURCE CENTER WHERE TEACHERS CAN SHOP FOR FREE FOR THE LEARNING MATERIALS FOR STUDENTS IN NEED. WITH EVERYONE CONTRIBUTING TO A CENTRAL RESOURCE CENTER, WE CAN ENSURE THAT EVERY CHILD IN NEED IS SERVED. AND TEACHERS KNOW BEST WHICH STUDENTS ARE WITHOUT THE SCHOOLS SUPPLIES THEY NEED FOR EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS

CLASSROOM INNOVATION PROGRAMS - THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED THE HARFORD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM AS WELL AS TEN INDIVIDUAL SCHOOLS WITHIN THE COUNTY IN THE AREAS OF STEM EDUCATION, ART & CULTURE, LITERACY, MUSIC, AND WELLNESS BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO THOSE SCHOOLS.TECH TOOLS IS FOCUSED ON ELIMINATING DIGITAL INEQUITY AND PROVIDING STUDENTS DIGITAL ACCESS AT HOME. FOR MANY LOW-INCOME STUDENTS, HAVING INTERNET OR OWNING A TABLET OR LAPTOP IS SIMPLY NOT A REALITY. HARFORD COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION IS CURRENTLY ESTABLISHING DIGITAL LENDING HUBS IN HARFORD COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL MIDDLE SCHOOL MEDIA CENTERS. DIGITAL LEARNING HUBS PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS IN NEED TO CHECK OUT A LAPTOP AND WIFI HOTSPOT FOR A SEMESTER AT A TIME BRINGING TECHNOLOGY INTO HOMES WHERE THIS INFRASTRUCTURE IS ABSENT.HARFORD COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION HELPS STUDENTS BUILD READING PROFICIENCY BY SENDING BACKPACKS OF AGE AND READING LEVEL APPROPRIATE BOOKS HOME WITH STUDENTS WHO HAVE THE NEED TO IMPROVE THEIR READING SKILLS. THIS PAST SCHOOL YEAR THE EDUCATION FOUNDATION PROVIDED 2200 BACKPACKS WITH 10,000 LEVELED BOOKS AND LEARNING MATERIALS TO STUDENTS IN NEED.
