Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

ONE VISION INTERNATIONAL ("OVI") IS A NON-PROFIT THAT OPERATES IN ORDER TO MEET IMMEDIATE PHYSICAL NEEDS IN ORDER TO WIN A HEARING TO SHARE THE GOSPEL. IN 2021, WE CONTINUED TO MEET THOSE PHYSICAL NEEDS THROUGH THE HELP OF OUR LOCAL PARTNERS ON THE GROUND. OUR DOMINICAN AND BRAZILIAN PARTNERS PROVIDED EDUCATION IN-PERSON AGAIN AS COVID PRECAUTIONS WERE LIFTED OR MANDATES WERE CHANGED. OUR PARTNERS HAD TO WORK WITH CHILDREN EVEN MORE AS THEY WERE EXPECTED TO COMPLETE SCHOOL WORK AT HOME WITHOUT THE HELP OF IN PERSON SCHOOLING. OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDED THAT PERSONAL HELP WITH THEIR SCHOOL WORK SO THEY COULD CONTINUE TO PROGRESS IN THEIR EDUCATION. OUR PARTNERS ALSO WORKED WITH PARENTS TO TEACH NEW SKILLS LIKE HOW TO LEARN/WORK THOUGH ZOOM CALLS AND INTERNET COMMUNICATION. IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC THE SEWING GROUPS BEGAN TO MEET IN PERSON AGAIN SO THEY COULD CREATEAND SELL NEW ITEMS. THEY ALSO HELD BIBLE STUDIES AS THEY WORKED. THE FIRST SEWING TEAM WAS ABLE TO TRAVEL BACK TO THE DR AFTER THE PANDEMIC. THE LADIES WERE ABLE TO LEARN NEW SKILLS AND EVEN START A GROUP IN A NEW COMMUNITY. IN BRAZIL, WE CONTINUED TO SUPPORT BRAZILIAN MISSIONARY FAMILIES THAT WERE HELPING THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES. WE SUPPORTEDTHEM MONTHLY SO THEY COULD CONTINUE HELPING OTHERS WITH FOOD, EDUCATION, AND BIBLICAL TEACHING. AN AMERICAN TEAM TRAVELLED TO THE NEIGHBORING STATE TO HELP SERVE WITH THEIR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY, RUN A MEDICAL CLINIC FOR THE CHILDREN OF THE CHURCH, AND SHARETHE GOSPEL IN THAT AREA. WE ALSO HOSTED ANOTHER VIRTUAL PASTOR'S CONFERENCE USING INSTAGRAM LIVE THAT WAS ATTENDED BY OVER 100 BRAZILIAN, DOMINICAN, AND MOZAMBICAN PASTORS. THE MIDDLE EAST REOPENED TO VISITORS AND ONE OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS SPENT MOST OF THE YEAR THERE. WE BEGAN WORK TO BUILD A SCHOOL IN A MORE REMOTE AREA OF KURDISTAN THAT WOULD SERVE THE SURROUNDING 13 COMMUNITIES. WE ALSO BROUGHT A TEAM OF AMERICAN DOCTORS TO CONDUCT MEDICAL CLINICS IN REFUGEE CAMPS AND HOST A TRAINING CLINIC FOR YOUNG KURDISH DOCTORS. THIS WAS DONE IN PARTNERSHIP WITH A LOCAL HOSPITAL. LASTLY, WE PARTNERED WITH A KURDISH RELIEF ORGANIZATION TO HELP NEEDY CHILDREN RECEIVE NEW CLOTHES AND A FUN DAY AT A HORSE FARM AND THE MALL. OUR HOPE IS TO CONTINUE THIS FOR THE CHILDREN, MANY OF WHOM HAVE BEEN ORPHANED BY THE WAR, EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR. WE ARE ABLE TO HELP AROUND 100 CHILDREN EACH MONTH.
