EDUCATIONAL AND CHARITABLE: DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC, SCHEDULED MISSION TRIPS WERE CANCELLED AS TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS WERE IN PLACE FOR BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL. CREATIVE WAYS FOR FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION WERE USED. KTT CONTINUED TO MOBILIZE CHURCHES AND INDIVIDUALS THROUGH PREACHING TEACHING, PARTICIPATING IN MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES THAT REACHED THOUSANDS THROUGH ZOOM AND SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. KTT CONDUCTED 4 LOCAL OUTREACHES WHERE WE SERVED OVER 350 PEOPLE THROUGH SHARING THE GOSPEL AND PRAYING FOR INDIVIDUALS. KTT PROVIDED FOOD, SOCKS (A WELL SOUGHT-AFTER COMMODITY AMONG THE HOMELESS COMMUNITY), BLANKETS, COLD-WEATHER GEAR, TOILETRIES, AND PPE SUPPLIES.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT(SOROTI, UGANDA): KTT'S INTERLOCKING BLOCK MACHINE CONTINUES TO BE USED TO MAKE BLOCKS FOR BUILDING PROJECT OF THE NEW CHURCH HOME FOR LIFE RENEWAL MINISTRY CHURCH AND NEW LATRINES FOR DESIGNATED SCHOOLS. TRAINING CONTINUES FOR THE UGANDANS ON THE USE AND OPERATION OF THE BLOCK MACHINE. COW PROJECT: SUPPORTS WIDOWS AND FAMILIES BY PROVIDING COWS AS A SOURCE OF INCOME. SHOE DRIVE: KTT PARTNERED WITH FUNDS2ORGS ALONG WITH 25+ CHURCHES ENCOURAGING CONGREGATIONS AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES TO CLEAR OUT THEIR CLOSETS OF GENTLY WORN, USED, AND NEW SHOES. KTT COLLECTED OVER 11,325 PAIRS OF SHOES THAT ARE REDISTRIBUTED THROUGHOUT FUNDS2ORGS NETWORK OF MICRO-ENTERPRISE (SMALL BUSINESS) PARTNERS THAT HELPS THEM CREATE, MAINTAIN, AND GROW SMALL BUSINESSES IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES WHERE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY AND JOBS ARE LIMITED. NEWBORN BOOTIES: KTT WAS BLESSED TO PROVIDE OVER 200 PAIRS OF NEWBORN BOOTIES TO HOWARD UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL TO SUPPORT NEW MOTHERS. KTT CONTINUES TO PARTNER WITH UNTO, FORMERLY GLOBAL AID NETWORK (GAIN), TO ASSIST IN ASEEMBLING AND PACKING OF SUPPLIES FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS. THESE EFFORTS SUPPORT HUMANITARIAN AID THROUGH PRODUCTS LIKE WATER FILTRATION SYSTEMS, HYGIENE SUPPLIES, AND SEEDS, ETC.
