HOSTED PUBLIC EVENTS PROVIDING PERFORMANCES IN RODEO AND ANIMAL-RELATED ENTERTAINMENT AS WELL AS PROVIDING A VENUE FOR EQUESTRIAN AND OTHER ANIMAL-RELATED ACTIVITIES. THE MAIN EVENT IS THE PENN VALLEY RODEO WHICH IS NORMALLY HELD ANNUALLY DURING THE MONTH OF MAY. OTHER EVENTS DURING THE YEAR INCLUDED THE A SUMMER FUN GYMKHANA BUCKLE SERIES, A FALL FESTIVAL, AND BARREL RACING. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO GIVES AN ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP TO A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT INTERESTED IN PURSUING AN EDUCATION IN AGRICULTURE OR A RELATED FIELD.
