SUPPORTS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO "TEAM CHALLENGE", AN ANNUAL PROGRAM CURRENTLY DESIGNED TO TEACH TEENS ETHICAL PRINCIPLES AND THEIR PRACTICAL APPLICATION IN A COOPERATIVE SETTING AND ENCOURAGE STUDENTS, TEACHERS AND BUSINESS PEOPLE TO BUILD TEAMS TO ADDRESS REGIONAL ISSUES, IN ADDITION TO PRESENTING PUBLIC DISCUSSION GROUPS, FORUMS, PANELS AND SIMILAR PROGRAMS, AND SUPPORTING THE EDUCATION COMMITTEE CONSISTING OF CHAMBER MEMBERS WORKING WITH AREA EDUCATORS TO DEVELOP OPEN LINES OF COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN BUSINESS AND EDUCATION COMMUNITIES IN AN EFFORT TO ENHANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR BOTH EMPLOYERS AND THE FUTURE WORK FORCE OF THE AREA.
