TO PRESERVE THE HISTORY OF GOLF IN THE STATE OF HAWAII. THE FOUNDATION HELPS PERPETUATE THE GAME OF GOLF IN HAWAII BY PROVIDING JUNIOR PROGRAMS, SCHOLARSHIPS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION, COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS, GOLF INSTRUCTION PROGRAMS, AND RESEARCH & EDUCATION. THE FOUNDATION HAS TAKEN OVER RUNNING THE HAWAII GOLF HALL OF FAME WHICH COMMEMORATES THE HISTORY OF GOLF IN HAWAII AND HONORS INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE GAME THROUGH THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS AS PLAYERS OR THROUGH THEIR SERVICE TO GOLF.

THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTS A PRO-AM TO RAISE MONEY FOR FOUNDATION PROGRAMS, THE HAWAII STATE JUNIOR GOLF ASSOCIATION, AND THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.


EACH YEAR THE ALOHA SECTION PGA FOUNDATION PARTNERS WITH FRIENDS OF HAWAII CHARITIES, INC. TO HONOR THE PLAYERS, VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORTERS OF HAWAII'S LEAD GOLF ASSOCIATIONS. THIS CELEBRATION AWARDS THOSE WHO HAVE DISPLAYED THE BEST COMPETITIVE SKILL, COUNTLESS HOURS OF SELFLESS SERVICE, DEVELOPMENT OF GROWTH FOR THE GAME, AND OTHER CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS.
