THE MUSEUM SHALL PRESERVE POWER SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT, AS WELL AS THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS, WHICH WERE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE DEVELOPMENT AND DAILY LIFE OF THE NORTH COUNTRY OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK. WITH ITS COLLECTIONS OF ARTIFACTS, THE MUSEUM WILL PROVIDE THE COMMUNITY AND VISITORS DISPLAYS, INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS, AND EXHIBITIONS EXPLAINING HOW PEOPLE OF THE REGION ONCE LIVED.

IN THE CURRENT YEAR, THE MUSEUM HELD MAJOR EXHIBITIONS, EACH ATTRACTING AS MANY AS 2,000 VISITORS AND EXHIBITORS. THE MUSEUM COMPLETED EXHIBITS FOR THE PUBLIC IN THE COLLECTIONS BUILDING SHOWING A RANGE OF EARLY TECHNOLOGIES. THE MUSEUM WORKED ON CONSTRUCTION FOR VARIOUS BUILDING AND EXHIBITS INCLUDING A 1950S SHOE REPAIR SHOP, 1920S GAS STATION, SAWMILL, 1900S GRANARY, 1800S SCHOOLHOUSE , TRACTOR BUILDING AND HORSE-DRAWN EQUIPMENT BUILDING.
