THE KIDS ON FARMS PROJECT - THE MISSION OF THIS PROJECT IS TO CONNECT WITH LOCAL FARMS TO CREATE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF WHERE FOOD COMES FROM. WE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PLACE-BASED EDUCATION AND SERVE AS A TOOL FOR BUILDING HEALTHIER COMMUNITIES. IN 2021 THE FOUNDATION WORKED WITH APPROXIMATELY 175 STUDENTS AND 3 LOCAL FARMING OPERATIONS.
