TO CREATE A FORUM FOR RALLYING UNITY TO MOBILIZE RESIDENTS TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE IN THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING A "VISION" FOR THE COMMUNITY. TO PROVIDE LOW COST SPACE TO NEW AND EXPANDING BUSINESSES IN DOWNTOWN ROME. FOCUS ON JOB CREATION AND RETENTION.
TO IDENTIFY KEY OPPORTUNITIES, NEEDS AND CHALLENGES AND THEN STRATEGIZE AND PUT PLANS INTO ACTION FOR COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT. ROME FOR THE HOLIDAYS COMMITTEE- COMMUNITY EFFORT TO RESTORE, ENHANCE AND GROW THE HOLIDAY LIGHT DISPLAY THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF ROME, NY. ROME HONOR AMERICA DAYS- ANNUAL TWO WEEK COMMUNITY EVENT INCLUDES PARADE, FIREWORKS, CONCERT AND MANY ACTIVITES THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY.
