SCHEIDELMAN SCHOLARSHIPS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO 72 STUDENTS ATTENDING 4 LOCAL AREA CATHOLIC SCHOOLS ALLOWING THE STUDENTS TO STRENGTHEN THEIR EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
LIFE CYCLE PROGRESSION FUNDS WERE SPENT ON PROGRAMS FOCUSING ON ENHANCING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH FAITH AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS FOR MARRIAGE AND FAMILY LIFE. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE THIRD OPTION, AN ONGOING PROGRAM TO HELP BUILD BETTER MARRIAGES THROUGH EXPRESSING AND COMMUNICATING FEELINGS EFFECTIVELY. OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE GRIEF SURVIVORS, SEPARATED & DIVORCED, PARENTS OF ADDICTED LOVED ONES AND A CONTINUING BIBLE STUDY SERIES. THESE PROGRAMS FOCUS ON HEALING AND SPIRITUAL RENEWAL. WE ALSO OFFERED THEOLOGY UNCORKED, A PROGRAM WHERE PEOPLE CAN ASK QUESTIONS RELATED TO THEIR FAITH TO A SPEAKER SPECIALIZING IN A CHOSEN TOPIC. THIS YEAR WE OFFERED A NEW SUPPORT PROGRAM CALLED CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP TO HELP INDIVIDUALS WHO CARE FOR A LOVED ONE.
PROCEEDS FROM OUR FLAGS FOR HEROES EVENT WERE AWARDED TO SITRIN'S MILITARY REHABILITATION PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE MANY DIFFERENT THERAPY TYPES AS WELL AS RETREATS AND ADAPTIVE SPORTS.
GRANTS IN 2021 WERE DISTRIBUTED AS VARIOUS GRANTS THROUGHOUT THE LOCAL AREA. USE OF GRANT FUNDS RANGED FROM YOUTH RETREATS, MARCH FOR LIFE, JAZZ NAVITITY, BOOKS, SERVICE PROJECTS,TECHNOLOGY FOR PARISH PROGRAMS AND MORE. THE BENEFIT OF THESE FUNDS REACHED A DIVERSE GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS IN THE COMMUNITY RANGING FROM THE HOMELESS AND WORKING POOR TO MANY YOUTH IN LOCAL AREA PARISHES. EACH GRANT WAS AWARDED WITH THE INTENTION OF ENHANCING THE LIVES OF OTHERS.
