RECOVERY CENTER - PROVIDE SOCIAL-RECREATIONAL, PRE-VOCATIONAL, AND VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION PROGRAMS WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONEMNT WHEREIN EACH INDIVIDUAL CAN BECOME INVOLVED IN MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES WHICH ENHANCE EFFORTS TO INITIATE AND SUSTAIN A COMPREHENSIVE INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLE. OPEN 365 DAYS, INCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS. SERVED APPROXIMATELY 330 INDIVIDUALS IN 2021 THROUGH THE PROVISION OF BENEFITS ASSESSMENTS, LINKAGES AND MANAGEMENT, FINANCIAL LITERACY, PARENTING SUPPORT, AND COMMUNITY INTEGRATION. THE RECOVERY CENTER SERVES AS THE HUB FOR HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES (HCBS) AND COMMUNITY ORIENTED REHABILITATION AND EMPOWERMENT SERVICES (CORE). GREATER EMPHASIS ASSISTING PEER (PERSONS WITH LIVED EXPERIENCES) IN GAINING EMPLOYMENT AND ACHIEVING PEER SPECIALISTS CERTIFICATION.
SUPPORTED HOUSING PROGRAM IS FOCUSED ON MEETING THE HOUSING NEEDS OF ITS CUSTOMERS IN ERIE COUNTY WITH A PERSON CENTERED APPROACH WITH SUPPORT TO REACH THEIR GOALS.
HARBOR HOUSE DROP IN CENTER IS A NON-RESIDENTIAL RESOURCE FOR ADULTS DIAGNOSED WITH SEVERE AND PERSISTENT MENTAL ILLNESSES, WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT HIGH RISK OF HOMELESSNESS, WHO MAY HAVE PROBLEMS WITH ALCOHOL AND/OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE, AND WHO MAY BE INVOLVED WITH FORENSIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.
