SEE SCHEDULE OTHE EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE CHAMBER WAS ACHIEVED BY PROMOTING BUSINESS GROWTH AND EXPANSION, TOURISM, AND THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF LIVINGSTON COUNTY.THE CHAMBER CONSISTS OF AROUND 600 BUSINESS MEMBERS AND OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE ON THE FOLLOWING COMMITTEES:- AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE WHICH PROMOTES FARMING AS THE NUMBER ONE INDUSTRY IN THE COUNTY AND RECOGNIZES THE CONTRIBUTION OF FARMERS TO THE LOCAL ECONOMY. FIRST ACCOMPLISHMENT ANNUAL FARMER AND NEIGHBOR EVENING BRINGS TOGETHER OVER 325 FARMERS AND THEIR NEIGHBORS FOR A NIGHT OF APPRECIATION.- SMALL BUSINESS COMMITTEE OFFERS A SERIES OF WORKSHOPS FOR BUSINESS OWNERS. SEMINAR TOPICS CAN INCLUDE STARTING UP A BUSINESS, INTERNET MARKETING, ADVERTISING LAYOUT, AND TAX PREPARATION.- TOURISM COMMITTEE PROMOTES THE MANY TOURISM FRIENDLY ATTRACTIONS AND ANNUAL VISITOR EVENTS IN THE COUNTY.
