BRANCH EVENTS, OFFERED ON A MONTHLY BASIS, INCLUDED TOPICS RELEVANT TO OUR MISSION TO ADVANCE EQUITY FOR WOMEN AND GIRLS. SOME EXAMPLES: ELLEN SMITH OF KEEPING OUR PROMISES, ON RESETTLING AFGHAN REFUGEES; INNOVATOR MARTHA MATILDA HARPER; FORMER POLICE CHIEF CYNTHIA HERRIOTT ON WOMEN IN THE POLICE FORCE. MEMBERS OF THE BRANCH PARTICIPATED IN THE AAUW STATE CONFERENCE, AND THE CONVENTION DAYS CONFERENCE IN SENECA FALLS. THE BRANCH SPONSORED A TWO-YEAR EFFORT BY MEMBERS AND YOUNG WOMEN TO WRITE AND PUBLISH A YOUTH DECLARATION OF SENTIMENTS, AN UPDATE OF THE SENECA FALLS DECLARATION OF SENTIMENTS OF 1848.
