KCYHA IS AN AFFILIATE OF THE USA HOCKEY NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY OVER AMATEUR ICE HOCKEY. THE KCYHA ORGANIZES AND OPERATES ALL YOUTH ICE HOCKEY PROGRAMS IN THE KANSAS CITY METROPOLITAN AREA. THERE ARE APPROX. 1100 YOUTH ICE HOCKEY PLAYERS IN THE ASSOCIATION. THE KCYHA PROVIDES A FUND DEVELOPMENTAL AND COMPETITIVE ATHLETIC EXPERIENCE TO ITS PLAYERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
