TO SUPPLY EMERGENCY SHELTER AND CRISIS CARE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT AND TO PROVIDE AN INTEGRATED PROGRAM OF FLEXIBLE SERVICES FOR ALL CLIENTS RANGING FROM COMBATING CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY TO FINDING AND MAINTAINING HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT, TO CONTINUED ACCESS TO NONJUDGEMENTAL COMPASSION AND CARE. THESE ARE THE PROVDEN STEPPING STONES TO SELF-ESTEEM, SELF-SUFFICIENCY, DIGNITY, AND A LIFE WITH PURPOSE.

HONOR'S ADULT AND FAMILY SHELTER PROVIDES TEMPORARY SHELTER TO HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES, AS WELL AS REFERRALS FOR WRAP-AROUND SERVICES. OUR CASE MANAGEMENT TEAM PROVIDES ASSISTANCE SECURING PERMANENT HOUSING. HONOR SUCCESSFULLY ASSISTED 1,176 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN WITH EMERGECY/TEMPORARY HOUSING DURING THE 2021 COVID-19 PANDEMIC. HONOR'S SHELTERS REMAINED OPEN SINCE THE ONSET OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ASSIST 1,962 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
HONOR'S RUNAWAY AND HOMELESS YOUTH SHELTER PROVIDES TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR RUNAWAY AND HOMELESS YOUTH, COUNSELING SERVICES, AND PLACEMENT IN SCHOOL. THE PROGRAM ALSO ACTS AS A LIAISON WITH PUBLIC ASSISTANCE CASEWORKERS. "A FRIEND'S HOUSE" PROVIDED A SAFE HAVEN AND EMERGENCY HOUSING TO 121 YOUTH DURING THE 2021 COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
HONOR'S COMMUNITY HOUSING PROGRAM SECURED AND/OR MAINTAINED PERMANENT HOUSING FOR 171 PREVIOUSLY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. THIS PROGRAM CONTINUES ITS INVOLVEMENT WITH THE PARTICIPANTS BY PROVIDING UP TO 24 MONTHS OF SUPPORTIVE SERVICES. OBSTACLES TO MAINTAINING HOUSING ARE IDENTIFIED AND ASSISTANCE IS GIVEN TO ENSURE STABILITY. IN 2021, HONOR ISSUED 569 RENTAL PAYMENTS AND/OR SECURITY DEPOSITS.
