YADDO'S RESIDENCY PROGRAM MAKES IT POSSIBLE FOR UP TO 300 ARTISTS ANNUALLY TO PURSUE A RANGE OF CREATIVE ENDEAVORS ACROSS MULTIPLE DISCIPLINES. YADDO WAS DECLARED A NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK IN 2013, IN RECOGNITION OF ITS CONTRIBUTIONS TO AMERICAN CULTURE AND ART. YADDO CONTINUES TO SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGE CONTEMPORARY COMPOSERS, FILMMAKERS, PERFORMERS, VISUAL ARTISTS AND WRITERS. THE CORPORATION OWNS AN HISTORIC ESTATE WHICH IS USED TO PROVIDE UP TO 300 RESIDENCIES TO A DIVERSE GROUP OF SELECTED INDIVIDUALS IN THE CREATIVE ARTS. THE ARTISTS ARE PROVIDED MEALS, LODGING AND WORKING FACILITIES AT NO CHARGE SO THEY MAY PURSUE CREATIVE WORK IN THEIR CHOSEN MEDIA.
