THE DOROT FELLOWSHIP IN ISRAEL ("DFI") PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO ASSEMBLE AND EMPOWER A NETWORK OF YOUNG JEWISH LAY LEADERS TO ENLIVEN THE NORTH AMERICAN JEWISH LANDSCAPE. EVERY YEAR, DOROT FELLOWS FROM THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA ARE CHOSEN TO LIVE IN ISRAEL FOR 10 MONTHS, WHERE THEY DEVELOP SKILLS, ACQUIRE EXPERIENCE, AND BROADEN THE NETWORKS REQUIRED FOR COLLABORATIVE JEWISH LEADERSHIP. EACH FELLOW DEVISES A PERSONAL LEARNING PROGRAM, COMPRISED OF FORMAL AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING. DOROT FELLOWS SHARE IN A COLLABORATIVE LEARNING COMMUNITY IN WHICH ALL MEMBERS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING A COMMUNAL LEARNING AGENDA THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
