THE FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSES OF THE ST. ANTHONY EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (SAEF), A SECULAR PUBLIC CHARITY, ARE TO ENCOURAGE AND SUPPORT - THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS - THE EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES OF MEMBERS OF ST. ANTHONY HALL. THROUGH ITS EFFORTS, THE FOUNDATION SEEKS TO ENHANCE THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEMBERS' INTELLECTS AND TO FOSTER RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP. ST. ANTHONY EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION, INC., IS THE NATIONAL ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY SOURCE OF SUPPORT FOR PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT ENRICH ST. ANTHONY HALL'S INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AND CHAPTERS FROM AN ACADEMIC AND INTELLECTUAL STANDPOINT. NUMEROUS GRANTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER TO EXPAND THEIR SCHOLARLY PURSUITS, AS WELL AS TO CHAPTERS IN ORDER TO ENRICH CAMPUS LIFE THROUGH PURSUITS SUCH AS FUND LECTURES AND LITERARY PRESENTATIONS. FOUNDATION GRANTS HAVE ALSO SPONSORED REGULAR WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS DESIGNED TO STRENGTHEN UNDERGRADUATES' ORGANIZATIONAL, PUBLIC SPEAKING, AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE ANNUAL FALL UNDERGRADUATE SEMINAR HAS CONSISTENTLY OFFERED UNDERGRADUATE OFFICERS AND GRADUATE ORGANIZATION LEADERS OF ST. ANTHONY HALL THE LEADERSHIP TRAINING THEY NEED TO KEEP THEIR CHAPTERS THRIVING IN AN INCREASINGLY CHALLENGING SOCIAL CLIMATE.
